Case Study
In 2017 Tundra contributed to the design as Principle Engineer on a 65 km pipeline system of up to 16″ line with two difficult river crossings for a total project cost of $85MM. These hydraulic calcs performed using traditional methods or even complex pipeline hydraulic software provided a solution for pressure drops and velocities etc. Yet complex (and expensive) process modelling tools that contemplate equations of state revealed a much different picture with respect to hydraulics than the simple tools. Critical mass allows Tundra Engineering Inc. to maintain these complex tools and the expertise to use them.
